Learn how to access Spitfire, manage your account, and troubleshoot login issues.
Logging in
Section titled “Logging in”Access the system
Section titled “Access the system”- Navigate to the CSP Rota Management System page: Login Page →
- Enter your credentials - username and password provided during account setup
- Click “Sign-in” to access the system
- Complete any additional verification if required by your organization
First-time login
Section titled “First-time login”If this is your first login, you may be prompted to:
• Update your password from the temporary one provided
• Complete your profile information
• Review and accept system usage policies
• Set up any additional security measures
After successful login, you’ll see:
• Your dashboard with role-specific information
• Navigation sidebar with available features
• Any pending tasks or notifications
• Quick access to common functions
Account types
Section titled “Account types”Your access level depends on your assigned role:
Administrative Access
Section titled “Administrative Access”- Admin Full system access - User management, configuration, all data
- Operations Support Operational coordination - Request processing, task management, scheduling oversight
Management Access
Section titled “Management Access”- Operations Manager Team management - Schedule coordination, team oversight
Security features
Section titled “Security features”Automatic logout: Sessions expire after period of inactivity
Secure connections: All data transmitted using encrypted connections
Session monitoring: Unusual activity triggers security alerts
Complexity: Minimum length and character requirements
Regular updates: Periodic password changes required
Unique passwords: Cannot reuse recent passwords
Role-based permissions: Access limited to job-relevant features
Data segregation: Users see only data they’re authorized to access
Audit logging: All system access and changes are logged
Managing your account
Section titled “Managing your account”Profile updates
Section titled “Profile updates”You can update certain profile information:
- Personal contact details (if permitted by your role)
- Display preferences such as time zones or language
- Notification settings for emails and system alerts
- Dashboard customization to prioritize relevant information
Password changes
Section titled “Password changes”- Navigate to your profile settings
- Select “Change Password”
- Enter current password for verification
- Enter and confirm new password
- Save changes and log in with new password
- Click “Forgot Password” on login page
- Enter your username or email address
- Check email for password reset instructions
- Follow the secure link to reset your password
- Create new password and confirm access
Troubleshooting login issues

Section titled “Common problems and solutions”Check credentials: Verify username and password are entered correctly
Caps lock: Ensure caps lock is not accidentally enabled
Account status: Contact administrator if account may be disabled
Password reset: Use forgot password feature if needed
Multiple failed attempts: Account may lock after repeated failed logins
Security hold: Contact administrator for account unlock
Policy violation: Review system usage policies and contact support
Temporary suspension: Wait for lockout period to expire
Browser compatibility: Ensure using supported browser version
Network connectivity: Check internet connection and firewall settings
System maintenance: Check for scheduled maintenance notifications
Cache/cookies: Clear browser cache and cookies if experiencing issues
Getting help
Section titled “Getting help”If you continue to experience login problems:
- Check system status - Look for maintenance notifications or system alerts
- Contact your administrator - They can verify account status and permissions
- Document the issue - Note exact error messages and steps that led to the problem
- Try alternative access - Use different browser or device if available
Security best practices
Section titled “Security best practices”Protecting your account
Section titled “Protecting your account”- Never share your login credentials with anyone
- Log out completely when finished, especially on shared computers
- Use strong, unique passwords that aren’t used for other systems
- Report suspicious activity immediately to system administrators
- Keep personal information current so security communications reach you
Safe usage

- Lock your screen when stepping away from your computer
