  • Lieu B/Fwd: Balance of lieu time available (typically 20 days shown)
  • Earning Lieu Time: Accumulated through working overtime or extra shifts
  • Usage: Can be used for time off at employee’s discretion
  • Balance Management: Tracks available lieu time throughout the year

Annual leave and vacation days allocated to staff.

  • Holidays B/Fwd: Annual holiday entitlement (typically 20 days shown)
  • Standard Allocation: Usually 20-25 days per year depending on contract
  • Rollover Policy: Some unused holidays may carry forward to next year
  • Usage Tracking: Monitor how much holiday time has been used

Actual time off used by staff members during the tracking period.

  • Total Days Off: All types of leave taken (sick, personal, etc.)
  • Current Usage: Most staff showing 0 days off taken in current period
  • Tracking Method: Includes all approved time off regardless of type
  • Balance Impact: May or may not affect lieu/holiday balances depending on type

Specific holiday/vacation days used from annual entitlement.

  • Holiday Usage: Specific days taken from holiday entitlement
  • Example Usage: Zar Vilof showing 1 holiday day taken
  • Balance Reduction: Directly reduces available holiday entitlement

To use the Lieu & Holidays tracker effectively:

  1. Access the feature via Overview → Lieu & Holidays
  2. Select time period using month and year dropdowns
  3. Search for staff using the employee search function
  4. Review balances across lieu time and holiday entitlements
  5. Monitor usage through days off and holidays taken columns
  6. Track trends by comparing different months and periods
  7. Report issues if balances appear incorrect or outdated

Data Accuracy

Leave balance data should be reviewed regularly for accuracy. Report any discrepancies to Ops Support immediately to ensure staff have correct leave information for planning purposes.
