Manage operational tasks with subtask assignments, progress tracking, and team coordination through the EOS Actions interface.

What is an EOS Action?
Section titled “What is an EOS Action?”EO tasks are structured work items that break down complex operational activities into manageable subtasks. They ensure coordinated execution across multiple team members with comprehensive tracking and progress monitoring.
EOS Actions Interface
Section titled “EOS Actions Interface”Central hub for viewing and managing all EOS-related tasks and updates.
- Task Tracking: Track all EOS-related tasks and updates from weekly meetings
- Weekly Organization: Tasks organized by week periods (e.g., September 29, 2025 - October 05, 2025)
- Collapsible Weeks: Expand/collapse weekly sections for better organization
- Add Task Button: Quick access to create new tasks
Comprehensive filtering system for finding specific tasks quickly.
- Search Task Title: Text search across all task names
- Month Filter: Filter tasks by specific months (October dropdown)
- Week Filter: “All Weeks” dropdown for week-specific filtering
- Assignee Filter: “All” dropdown to filter by assigned person
- Status Filter: “All Status” dropdown for status-based filtering

Task Detail Interface

Task structure

Task statuses
Section titled “Task statuses”Task-Level Statuses
Section titled “Task-Level Statuses”- Not Started Not Started: Newly created, planning phase
- In Progress In Progress: Active work on subtasks
- Completed Completed: All subtasks finished
- On Hold On Hold: Temporarily paused
- Cancelled Cancelled: No longer required
Subtask Statuses
Section titled “Subtask Statuses”- Not Started Not Started: Ready to begin
- In Progress In Progress: Actively working
- Completed Completed: Finished and verified
- Blocked Blocked: Cannot proceed due to dependency
Priority levels
Section titled “Priority levels”Urgency: Critical operational needs, immediate attention required
Timeline: Same day or next business day
Examples: Emergency event preparation, critical system issues
Urgency: Important but not critical, standard processing
Timeline: 2-5 business days
Examples: Routine event setup, regular compliance checks
Urgency: Can be scheduled flexibly, no immediate impact
Timeline: 1-2 weeks
Examples: Process improvements, training activities
Using the EOS Actions Interface
Section titled “Using the EOS Actions Interface”Navigate and view tasks effectively using the interface.
- Weekly View: Tasks organized by weekly periods
- Click to Open: Click any task card to open detailed view
- Filter Options: Use month, week, assignee, and status filters
- Search Functionality: Search by task title or keywords
Update and track task progress through the interface.
- Status Updates: Change task status using dropdown
- Subtask Progress: Monitor subtask completion ratios
- Add Notes: Document progress and communications
- Activity Monitoring: Review activity log for changes
Break down tasks into manageable subtasks.

Task lifecycle

Best practices
Section titled “Best practices”For Task Owners:
- Break down complex work into clear, actionable subtasks
- Set realistic deadlines with buffer time
- Monitor progress regularly and update stakeholders
- Document important decisions and changes in task notes
For Subtask Assignees:
- Update status promptly when starting or completing work
- Communicate blockers immediately through task notes
- Ask questions rather than making assumptions
- Coordinate with other subtask owners when needed
For Interface Usage:
- Use filters to focus on relevant tasks
- Click tasks to access detailed information
- Regularly check activity logs for updates
- Utilize the notes feature for team communication
Integration Points
Section titled “Integration Points”Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Check Management → EOS Actions. Use the assignee filter to show only your tasks. Verify your role has task access. Contact Operations Support if tasks are missing.
Check the due date of the task. Tasks appear in weeks based on their due dates. Use the week filter to find tasks in different time periods.
Verify you have permission to update the task. Check if you’re the assigned user or have admin/ops support permissions. Contact task owner if status seems incorrect.
Ensure subtasks are being marked as completed individually. The overall progress bar updates based on subtask completion ratios. Check subtask statuses in the detailed view.
